Refund policy

We take great care in creating and packing our products, and we hope you love your Little Fossil Finders purchase. Please read the information below carefully before purchasing.

This policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We don’t accept returns or refunds on sale items. Items sent back to us without a return request will not be accepted.

Pre-Made Products

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, pre-made volcano/magma mix products cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Change of Mind Returns (Other Products)

For products other than pre-made volcano/magma mix, we may offer an exchange (not a refund) for change of mind if:

  • The item is returned within 14 days of purchase

  • Proof of purchase is provided

  • The item is unused and in original condition

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return postage is at the customer’s expense.

If an exchange is unavailable, a refund may be issued at our discretion (excluding shipping costs).

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@littlefossilfinders.com.au

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the issue

  • A brief description of the problem

We will assess the issue and offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Shipping Damage

We take care when packing orders, however once an item has been dispatched it is handled by third-party delivery services.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us promptly so we can assist you. In some cases, we may need to lodge or support a claim with the shipping provider.

Return Shipping

If a return or exchange is approved:

  • Items must be returned unused and in original packaging

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is deemed faulty

Product Availability

You acknowledge and agree that from time to time, some goods displayed on the website may be unavailable or out of stock and that we may be unable to complete or fulfil part or all of your order.

If this happens, Little Fossil Finders will contact you via email or phone within five (5) business days to arrange for amendment of your order to replace the products with an alternative comparable product and price, if available and agreed by you or a full refund.

Receipt of your refund will be determined by your financial institution and the time taken by them to process your refund.

Little Fossil Finders is not liable with respect to any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury you or any third party incurs as a result of any delay in processing your refund.

We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw from sale either temporarily or permanently any product displayed on Little Fossil Finders website without notice to you at any time.

Little Fossil Finders will not be liable to you for any loss you or any third party suffers as a result of a withdrawal or suspension of availability with respect to a particular goods.

Where your order is affected by an error on the website e.g. description of goods, an image, price or otherwise, we will reject this part of the order.

If applicable, Little Fossil Finders will continue to fulfil the remainder of your order in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

If you are not satisfied with the partial fulfilment of your order, you can return your order to us in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • All pictures and images of goods displayed on the website are for illustration purposes only, and the sizes and dimensions and colours of goods may differ in real life
  • You have read any corresponding written description of the goods, prior to submitting your order
  • The colour of goods as shown on the website may vary slightly in shade in real life
  • Where we provide dimensions and measurements in the descriptions of a product it is your responsibility to ensure that the actual size of each item is suitable for your purpose, prior to submitting your order
  • Any accessory featured with the goods is for illustration purposes only, and may be sold separately

Price & Payment

The price of a product is stated on the website and you agree to pay for your goods at the time of placing an order.

All prices of goods and associated fees and charges are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.

The prices of goods on the website are subject to change without notice to you.

You can pay for an accepted order using any of the following payment methods:

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • Debit Card
  • Afterpay
  • PayPal

You will be issued a Tax Invoice by email once payment for your order has been processed.

All payments for goods must be cleared in full by Little Fossil Finders before your goods are dispatched from our warehouse.

If your payment cannot be processed, your order will be rejected and you will be advised by email.
